The County of Riverside Transportation Department (CRTD) in cooperation with the Riverside County Transportation Commission (RCTC) and the Cities of Lake Elsinore, Menifee and Perris conducted a planning study with the intent of recommending enhancements that will improve regional east-west movement and connectivity between Interstate 15 (I-15) and Interstate 215 (I-215) and beyond. This study evaluated vehicular mobility along the corridor and provided a future vision for the corridor. The study will provide guidance that will assist in the effort to both fund and build the corridor improvements.

Funding from CRTD and RCTC to implement the entire corridor vision is not currently available, however the respective Cities will be responsible for constructing gap closures and localized improvements to maintain operational continuity until regional funding is available for the full corridor implementation.
