Work continues on the Skyview Road Pedestrian Bridge over the French Valley Channel in the Community of French Valley. This new bridge will span the existing gap along Skyview Road, creating a much‑needed connection where no road crossing currently exists.

Once complete, the bridge will offer a safe and convenient path between the French Valley Library on the northwest side and Susan LaVorgna Elementary School at the southeast corner of Skyview Road and Via Santiago/Algarve Avenue. It will serve both pedestrians and bicyclists, with vehicle access limited to emergency responders only.

Current construction activities include:

Basin restoration

Installation of rock slope protection

Lighting installation

Additional site improvements

The project is progressing on schedule, with tentative completion anticipated in Summer 2026.
