    This is a Microsoft Excel template for use in preparing an estimate. This template is used when there is a need to segment bid items into different categories of work. Segmenting work may be useful in a variety of situations. Some examples include: separating bridge work from roadway work (required on federal projects), segmenting County or supplemental work items from contractor bid items, and/or separating different projects for billing purposes.
