The Black Business Association's mission is to advocate for and advance the development and growth of African-American owned businesses. This contributes to and participates in the self-determination, economic growth and prosperity of African-American communities, thereby creating a strong economic base that nurtures, empowers and supports the ongoing success of these communities and our society at large. Increasing the number of successful minority businesses by helping them gain access to procurement opportunities and capital is an ongoing process.
The Inland Empire SBDC provides existing and startup businesses with technical assistance designed to improve their competitive standing in the marketplace. SBDC clients receive expert guidance and benefit from the experiences of staff and other businesses. The Inland Empire SBDC focuses on doing things that have positive impacts on the clients and the local economy.
The Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU) is responsible for ensuring that small businesses are treated fairly and have an opportunity to compete and be selected for a fair amount of the agency's contracting and subcontracting dollars.
